- kalimat yang subyeknya adalah orng ke-3 tunggal (he,she,it) ataupun kata nama diri yang berada dalam bentuk tunggal(John, Marry, Dog, Cat), maka kata kerja yang berfungs sebagai predikat akan mendapat tambahan akhiran S atau ES.

- akhiran ES ditambahkan pada kata kerja (verb) yang berhuruf akhir CH, S, SH, X, Z. juga bagi kata kerja yang berhuruf akhiran Y yang didahilui huruf mati dan akan berubah menjadi I jika mendapat tembahan akhiran itu. sedangkan bila Y didahului huruf hidup, maka kata kerja mendapat tambahan S.
